I sleep on

soft cheeks

Love keeps

Our heart.

world stops

skin shifts

shadows

bed sheets fall Deep

lives

lived

Before.

bodies wrap

intertwined

tucked in

tight

crisp air

farewell

string across

the stars.

distance

of desire

light beneath

My fire.

burns smoke

embers red

your head

heavy on

my breast.

now rest

body shakes

sighs shift

you lift

my life

higher.

tears shine

redefine

what does

Love

mean?

impossible

seams

break open to

Reveal

love lives

on

perfection

is gone.

pure energy

shines through

renew

cut through

right

versus wrong.

world stops
